Rejected Letters to the Editor is proud to feature the work of artists whose work complements the letters, op-eds and comments that we publish in each issue.

Some of the artists directly address social and political concerns—as in the work of Birgitta Lund, John Patrick Naughton and Irma Bohórquez-Geisler. Others reveal their views through attention to formal considerations that reveal structures of power, history or nature—as in the work of Herman Zaage, Esteban Chavez and Victor Timofeev. All leave a powerful impression on the viewer.

We hope you enjoy the artwork, and encourage you to learn more about the ideas developing within creative arts communities sparked by the flow of events in the world today.
